Alexandra Elizabeth Sheedy was born in America. Her first film role was in Bad Boys (1983). Then she was a part of the Brat Pack and went on to star in WarGames, The Breakfast Club, and Short Circuit. Sheedy was awarded an Independent Spirit Award in Best Female Role for her work in Lisa Cholodenko's High Art. Sheedy was married to David Lansbury in April 1992.
